Interior Designer
Chapel Hill, North Carolina
Interior Designer with 4-6 years’ experience to join our new North Carolina office. This independent, high-energy, self-motivated position focuses on the firm's corporate and commercial, institutional, and science and technology markets. Must provide strong conceptual and detail oriented design as well as detailing and construction documentation in CAD. Will prepare and produce presentation materials. Candidates must have: Bachelors in Interior Design (FIDER Accredited) or Architecture; CAD skills; Revit skills; PC-based skills (Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook; Adobe: InDesign, Photoshop; and/or Sketch Up and other 3D modeling programs); Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work with a broad range of personalities; Effectiveness at multi-tasking and managing multiple deadlines. NCIDQ a plus.
Intern Architect
Chapel Hill, North Carolina
Intern Architect with 4-6 years' experience to join our new North Carolina office. We are seeking a candidate who is working toward their licensure, to focus on the firm's corporate, commercial, institutional, science, and technology markets. Responsible for documenting design and/or technical ideas generated by senior staff. Will revise documents under the guidance of senior staff. Also will assist with the preparation of presentations including drawings, models, and reports. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture. Must have strong detail-oriented design ability and exceptional graphics skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills with both internal and external clients is required. Must be effective at managing multiple deadlines and have an interest in sustainable design. REVIT and AutoCAD proficiency is a must. Construction documentation experience, SketchUp, and other 3D modeling programs preferred. Registration preferred.
