The Structural Engineers Association of Massachusetts (SEAMass) recently elected Richard M. Croswell, P.E. of SMMA as the organization’s 2011‐2012 President. He is a long‐time member and chapter officer of SEAMass, the Massachusetts member organization for the National Council Structural Engineers Associations (NCSEA).
Croswell is a Principal and Chief Structural Engineer with Cambridge MA‐based design firm SMMA. In addition to his role as president of SEAMass, Croswell is a volunteer member of the Structural Advisory Committee to the Massachusetts State Board of Building Regulation and Standards, charged with developing portions of the State Building Code for the Commonwealth. He is a past member and past chair of the Town of Action Planning Board, and a member of the Boston Association of Structural Engineers.
