If you’re a parent with a child in school, one of your top priorities is your child’s education, and you strive to make the best decisions for him or her as possible. With so many educational options in this modern era, it can be a bit overwhelming determining how to best meet your child’s individual needs.
Operating under the premise that we, as educational planners and architects, must be more well-read than our clients on subjects that are important to them, Phil Poinelli developed the following reading list on 21st century teaching and learning.
With an understanding of topics such as brain research, as related to education; differentiated and personalized learning; technology in education; educational delivery models; and many other subjects, we are able to "read between the lines" on how these educational ideas can manifest themselves in the built environment.
