Galloway Achieves Certified Energy Manager Designation

SMMA Civil Engineer Elizabeth Galloway has been accredited as a Certified Energy Manager by the Association of Energy Engineers, an international organization of engineers engaged in energy management and sustainable design.

Galloway achieved the designation after several years of experience working on energy efficiency and sustainable design projects at the firm and taking a four-day course, followed by a rigorous test, administered by the AEE on topics ranging from indoor air quality and energy accounting to HVAC systems, lighting and building envelope, among numerous other subjects. According to the AEE, the CEM is the most widely recognized energy management certificate in the world with over 13,000 active CEMs.
