SMMA Wins First Project at UNC Chapel Hill

SMMA has won its first project at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The project is a renovation of 208 W. Franklin Street, which is home to the Development Office of the University. The scope of service includes interior design on four floors in order to accommodate an additional 26 people for the Campaign for Carolina fund raising effort. It will also include new furniture fit-up, new lighting and a renovation of the building’s HVAC system. The 21,000-square-foot building was built in 1999 and later purchased by UNC. It is on the periphery of the campus in the heart of downtown Chapel Hill.
