Darling and McCormack Announced as Principals at SMMA

SMMA has announced two promotions to the role of principal: architect and Design Technology Manager Dave Darling, and Director of Administration Heather McCormack.
Babson College recently cut the ribbon at its new Downtown Boston location, ceremonially marking the grand opening of its 9,000-square-foot, SMMA-designed Babson Boston space. Occupying a prime spot in the Financial District, the new, multi-level site serves as an urban extension of the main Wellesley campus.
Mariana Hernandez, Courtney Borelli, Michael Pardek, and Jennifer Soucy recently passed the seventh and final division of the Architect Registration Examination, the last remaining hurdle in their journey toward licensure and becoming registered architects in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
SMMA recently took part in Canstruction Boston's 21st Annual Design-Build Event, which brought together architecture and engineering firms from around the area in the spirit of charity and friendly competition. The team drew inspiration from a staple in the classic rock canon: Pink Floyd's seminal 1973 album, The Dark Side of the Moon.
