Providence College - McPhail's Student Center

Overview

The college’s new institutional plan calls for increased student residence on campus, resulting in a need for enhanced student social facilities and programs.

McPhail’s Student Center is the new on-campus venue for live music, student activities, and gatherings for the growing residential population.

It is located near the center of campus in the Slavin Center, adjacent to the cafeteria and college bookstore. The facility provides space for dancing, live music, a DJ, coffee bar, seating, pool tables, and cyber café. SMMA worked with the College to program, plan, and design this important center of student activities.
