Providence College Breaks Ground on New School of Business Building

Providence College recently took a firm step forward in its mission to educate and inspire the economic and business leaders of tomorrow, breaking ground on the Arthur F. & Patricia Ryan Center for Business Studies. The facility marks the latest collaboration between the College and designer SMMA, and will serve as the new home of PC’s nationally recognized School of Business.

New Era of Educational Facility Excellence in Boston Begins

Yesterday marked a historic day for the City of Boston and the future of its public schools. With the goal of providing the children of our world-class city with world-class educations, Mayor Marty Walsh and Superintendent Tommy Chang kicked off Build BPS, a 10-year Educational and Facilities Master Plan for Boston Public Schools. SMMA has been commissioned by the City and BPS to lead the planning effort, in partnership with the Mayor, his Educational Cabinet, and BPS/Superintendent Chang.

Here’s proof to back it up: Using guidelines set forth by the International Organization of Standardization, the largest global developer of voluntary International Standards and the benchmark of standardization worldwide, TÜV SÜD America recently recertified SMMA as meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. This certification is valid through 2018.
