Leadership Appointments Announced by SMMA

In support of the firm’s growth and geographic expansion, SMMA today announced four leadership appointments. Martine Dion, Lorraine Finnegan, and Jennifer Howe were elected principals in the firm. Steven Vincent was named a Senior Associate.

“These four individuals are admired as leaders in the company, and valued as problem solvers by our clients,” said Ara Krafian, PE, SMMA President and CEO. “I am proud to work alongside Martine, Lorraine, Jennifer and Steve, and look forward to celebrating their ongoing success.”

Ms. Dion, an 12-year veteran of SMMA, is the firm’s Director of Sustainable Design, a licensed architect and a LEED-accredited professional. She received a bachelor of science in architecture from McGill University in Montreal. Ms. Finnegan, who has been with the firm for 14 years, leads the firm’s K-12 Studio. She is a licensed architect, a LEED-accredited professional and a graduate of the Limerick Institute of Technology in Limerick, Ireland. Ms. Howe, a 13-year veteran of SMMA, leads SMMA’s Federal Government Studio. She is a professional engineer, a LEED-accredited professional and a graduate of Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Mr. Vincent, who joined SMMA in 2010, is a project manager and architect, specializing in corporate and commercial and technology projects. He is a licensed architect and a LEED-accredited professional. He holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of Vermont and a masters in architecture from Syracuse University.
